Like most people and businesses, we took some time at the turn of this year to look back and reflect on 2016. Well, 2016 was an interesting year, to say the least. Don’t get us wrong, we had some fun, did some great work for awesome clients, and met some new friends along the way. We even got to see our very own Brian get married to his wonderful wife, Jessica. But, like most, we had our ups and downs as well.
In 2016 we grew our close-knit family of partners including Ross from Brown Hound Media (who has since become a full-time partner at Beacons Point), and Michelle from MKW Graphics, just to name a few. We traveled to Oakland to create videos for the University of California, Office of the President. We helped raise over $4,000 for the National MS Society, $500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and helped create brands and websites for many other local non-profits. We have been able to combine our love of marketing and passion of baseball to market the MaxBP – Reaction Training tool for baseball and softball.
Enough about 2016. We're well into 2017 and building our inbound marketing agency based on the resolutions we set for ourselves early on! We wanted to take a minute and revisit some of our New Years Resolutions from the start of 2017.
1. Get Outdoors
The great outdoors is what gives us our inspiration and strength. Sounds like a pretty good idea to ditch the phones for a few hours and feel the fresh air every once in awhile.
2. Be Creative
Yes, we are a creative inbound marketing agency. But that doesn’t mean we can’t strive for more, right? Creativity is what helps us help you. We find ways to build strong creative into inbound marketing campaigns that engage visitors, leads and customers.
3. Be Courageous
You don’t get ahead by always playing it safe. We want to push the boundaries and the expectations when it’s the right time.
4. Do More Good
Can you ever do too much good? Well, we want to find out. We want to work with brands that feel the same so we can change the world together..
5. Share More Cups of Coffee
It’s easy to email or text, but in 2017 we want to talk face to face, build trust and help each other grow.
6. Be the Best We Can
We have been reminded that life can take unexpected turns. We want to be the best we can, each and every day. We want to follow these resolutions so we can live awesome lives and help your business grow, build your brand, and help you live an awesome life too.
